Born to an unwed mother in the early eighties, Greta's early life was fraught with the pratfalls of her mother's apathetic rearing. She learned early on that her mother was a woman of whom gave birth to her but wasn't much else. Her father wasn't much better and often used Greta to help with his various scams which lead to Greta's first arrest at the age of thirteen. Her next arrest, just four months later, netted her a sentence with the State.

Three years in juvenile hall did little more than hone Greta's criminal knowledge and teach her that she had to toughen up if she was going to survive. Things were tough inside lockup but once she was released she found that her mother had disappeared off the face of the Earth and her father was doing a five year stretch for getting caught selling stolen property. Greta was left with zero options and no help that she was willing to ask for. She turned to prostitution to support herself.

Greta started out walking the streets on her own dime, trying to learn the business one trick at a time, but was soon picked up by a local pimp by the name of Little Petey. She worked for Little Petey for three years before Vice took her boss and half his girls down in a raid. Greta managed to steer clear of the cops and took off with over twenty thousand in profits from Little Petey's operation. She moved to a different state, cleaned herself up, and set up shop as an online call girl.

Greta is a modern day mistress, an upscale prostitue that's gone into business for herself and only offers her services to those that can pay a pretty penny. She's had a rough life but has come through it with the help of her best friend Simon Marcelli - Father Marcelli. The man's a priest. Go figure.
daddy verse
Greta comes home one day to find a little girl wandering along the front of her apartment building with nothing more than a backpack hanging off her shoulder and a smile. It turns out that her best friend had a secret affair before he left for the semenary and little Rosie Marcelli was the result. Now Greta along with Rosie's father, Simon, are trying to give the girl the kind of family she deserves as well as well as struggle to come to terms with the feelings they share with one another.
irony verse
After being saved from a fatal accident thanks to a bit of demonic intervention, Greta lives with the knowledge that she's as good a sentenced her best friend to the depths of hell for all enternity. Azrael has granted her life while taking Simon's soul in exchange. Greta finds it to high a price and will do anything to see the contract undone, even if it means selling her own soul up on the auction block.
future irony verse
Greta has spent the last fifteen years trying to find a way to break the contract between Azrael and Simon Marcelli without much luck. Simon disappeared five years ago and with each day he's been gone, Greta has pushed herself to her very limits trying to find a way to get him back. When she reached the end of her reserves, Greta stole a bottle of pills from the clinic, made herself a milkshake, and closed her eyes. She's found her way to Hell now and will do all in her power to find Simon and once she does she hopes she can entreat ~~Azrael~~ or another demon of the bastard's ilk to keep her close so she may stay close to the only man she ever loved. (This has been recconned and in place of Azreal now stands Faith)
